instead of me posting my ride info. and our trip planning into the general discussion, do you want to make a Trip or a touring forum as well and I'll just post stuff in there?  just curious...i have no problems leaving it in the general area or making some of them stickies......your comments?

No problem chiller.  More than happy we have touring forum.  
This is more or less what riding is all about, at least to me.
