I bought the Xena XR1 recently. I'm finding the motion sensors very inconsistent. I've pulled the bike upright, sat on it, rolled back and forth and the alarm doesn't sound. At other times it might trigger.

Does anyone use these? Can you shed any light? I don't know whether I have a faulty one or whether I may be expecting too much on the shock and movement sensor side. These aren't cheap!

How old are the batteries? Also, is there anything blocking any of the sensors?

It's brand new. I can only assume the batteries are okay and not dated. But it does seem to trigger, just not very sensitive so it seems like a pointless feature.
