Because we all love winter, snowboarding and apres ski (or in bch4's case, apres bail), use this silly thread to post all your winter photos!

You can see the rest of my photos (14 posted today) here!

Edit: try not to quote in the thread so it doesn't get huge on us!

this is the winter scene most common amongst some certain snowboarders. any guesses? apres ski anyone?

and this is my infamous toboggan crash that happened in switzerland feb 2008. we were on a toboggan run that was no different than the actual ski runs. good times. good times.
I call this, "What you shouldn't do on a test drive." Taken Feb. 16, 2003.

Dude, you broke the rules by the thread originator about not quoting pics! Tut

Someone give him a -1 or something!

Wow Rory! That photo is awesome. Lonely, angry clound skirting over the ground hehe
a picture of a chalet in zermatt, switzerland. this picture does not do the real life scene any justice.

This is a pic was taken last year showing my shoveled driveway and my neighbour's non-shoveled driveway. You'll notice the snow pile to the right (mine) is much bigger than his showing that he hardly did the driveway. He was so lazy, the snow used to scrape the bottom of the car!

wow.... I am speechless, do you have a picture showing the whole house?
So I decided to hit the slopes today. strapped my board to my back, put on my helmet, and hit the road:

[attachment=2395]

I prefer off-piste action, so there are no lifts. Had to brave the slippery winter conditions to get to the top.

[attachment=2396]

I conquered the climb to the top....

[attachment=2397]

...strapped in....

[attachment=2398]

...and dropped!

[attachment=2399]

WHAT A RUSH! The speed and skills were still there! Finished that run in no time! No beginner trepidation at all!

[attachment=2400]

After some runs, had to bring the scoot back down to pack it in.

[attachment=2401]

Then brave the arctic tundra at the bottom to get back to clear roads.

Matt,

next time try strapping the bike to the board and hit the slop, bet you it will be more fun and you can really hurt yourself this time.
