I have here a local guy who wants to get rid of his overstock tires.

Pirelli DOT Supercorsa with 90-95% tread left.
He bought them for track, switched over to Dunlop, now he prefers Dunlop.

He is selling $70 per tire.

Pirelli Rear : 180/55/ZR17 x4 tires
Pirelli Front : 120/70/ZR17 x1 tire
Pilot Power Front : 120/65/ZR17 x1 tire

Who is interested? I can get them from him and I will deliver them to you when I will come to the GTA. If I do get them, I will surcharge you $10 per tire for deliver. Sounds fair?

NA Motorcycle Roads, I have an idea - need your help!

OK, guys and gals. I noted that Google maps had this facility to be able to easily map out sections of roads. So I created a map and started adding in roads and will continue to do so when I have time. Then I had the bright idea of asking for help and making this a community activity and resource.

We all know our favorite riding roads, in fact there are a whole bunch listed in this thread. I'll start trolling through the thread and the internet and start adding it all to this central location.

I ask that you do the same for any road that your aware of in North America.

Once we have this map updated, anyone who is planning a trip in a certain area, can refer to this map to help plan out their route.

Here's some simple instructions on how to draw lines along the roads in Google Maps.

http://maps.google.com/support/bin/stati...4363#lines

As you create the lines along a certain stretch of road, there is the option of adding a title, I personally think this should be optional, and giving it a description, if possible I think that we should add a description of the type of road. ie. Elevation Changes, Tight Corners, High speed sweepers, Decreasing radius turns, etc.

Here's a link to the map - http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&h...64e7ceed75

As we add roads, the following map will be automatically updated.

View Motorcycle Roads in a larger map

$450\month including parking spot for car or bike, satellite tv, wireless internet, phone, bbq, hot tub, laundry.
The only downside is the bathroom has to be shared...

Although I have Charlie in shared custody, I cannot accept another pet, except perhaps a fish.

I would prefer renting to a female, but would consider a guy too if he's hot!
The person must be mentally stable with good hygiene, and be clean.
If you know someone meeting those criterias, PM me!

It is with sadness that I announce my departure from GTAS

Lately, and with increasing frequency, it has come to my attention that some members of this forum are spreading libelous rumour about myself that has had a direct and negative impact on my personal life. I do not know who the sources are, but they seem to "know" me. I will not go into details, but such rumours have had direct effect on relationships and freindships which I care about deeply.

I am overall very saddened and disheartened about this, as the source of this is on a motorcycle forum. I am not sure when this became a dating service, or a tabloid, but either way, I am personally impacted by what is taking place offline.

For those who have met me, even once, it should be apparent that I love life, love people and don't pass judgment, and above all else, love to ride. I have met many amazing and unique people over the years, and it can be directly attributed to forums such as this. However, for those who have taken the time to get to know me, they would tell you that I am not what appears on the surface.

Those who have met me once might describe me as crazy. This is understandable, as I live up to the "suprPHREAK" name. It is FUN to let loose once in a while.

Those who have met me a few times will probably know that I am a very knowledgeable and skilled rider. I took the time to learn how to handle my ride, but I still cant do a decent wheelie (which is OK, because they are few and far between).

Then those who have taken the time to become friends, will tell you I am a helpful and caring person. I don't speak ill of anyone, even if it is true. I do not, and will not, spread rumours. These same people will tell you I am enthusiastic about this sport of riding, and I will happily share my knowledge to those who want it. I am willing to help a new rider learn the essentials, and those other tips, which will keep a rider safe on the roads. This is self evident, as I am a certified riding instructor.

I am well aware of the blessings that I have in life. I have a good job, which pays very well, but I balance that with a generosity which has brought me personal joy. I contribute much time and money to charities, supporting many causes that are not related to bikes, and not even affecting me. I have taken time out to counsel people in need, and have stepped up to the plate when people have been in danger and needing help. I may act like an ass at times, but I am the farthest thing from being full of myself.

I am a very private person. Some people seem to think this means I have something to hide. This is not true, but in this world of instant messaging, Facebook updates, and being able to Google everything about everything, I value what I can keep personal. If someone takes the time to get to know me, I am an open book. This has hurt me int he past, but I figure you should know me for who I am, and how I got to be this way. Anyone who has gotten to know my "inner sanctum" has earned that information, that trust, that friendship.

Those who have chosen to speak ill of me, to everyone BUT me, will never get to know the real me. And while I do not ordinarily walk away from conflict, in this case I am fighting an invisible enemy, and must step away.

To those who have gotten to know me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the good times, the thrills, the excitement, the tens of thousands of miles, the sunrises, the sunsets, the good weather and the bad weather, and the worse weather. For the laughs, the smiles, the jokes, the tears. For the safe rides, and for those where someone didnt ride home. For knowing the way, and for getting lost. For the Holla. For wrong turns in Halifax, Yosemite, Flagstaff, Vegas, and Tennessee. For the tickets. Ok, not so much for those. For teaching me when I needed it. For listening, and for getting to know who I am.

It has been a slice. I'm sure I will see you on the road some time, so give a friendly wave. People around here don't do that enough anymore. I'll surely wave back.

They came off an almost brand new Suzuki Bandit that I'm prepping for my brother to go west coast. We put new 2CT's on for the trip and removed these off the bike today they have lots of tread still on 'em ... Only reason we changed the tires is he just wanted dual compound tires for the trip so they'd last longer...

We are leaving on my trip July 16th so this deal must be done by July 15th or sale will resume in Mid August when I get back...

For quick sale looking for $160 firm cash, local deal...

SOLD SOLD SOLD

As the title states, up for sale is my Icon Field Armor Back Protector.

It's a few years old and never been down. The only reason I'm selling is that I've picked up another back protector and don't need two.

Here are some of the features listed on the sites.

* Breathable mesh chassis
* Elastic adjustment straps
* Impact absorbing articulated back plastic
* Low-profile to fit under most jackets
* Form-fitting chassis stays in place
* Abrasion resistant slider panels
* Reinforced rubber chest armor
* Impact dispersing molded foam

It's selling at New Enough, typically one of the best priced sites in the US for $100US plus shipping and possibly customs

http://www.newenough.com/street/armor/ba..._vest.html

Also at GP Bikes for $99Cdn plus taxes

http://gpbikes.com/index.php?main_page=p...cts_id=153

I'm looking for $70 Cdn, so compared to the above you're saving at a minimum $45 (40%) it's a pretty good deal.

I'm located in Mississauga (Dundas and 403) and work in Vaughan (400 and Steeles). If you're interested PM me and I can bring it to someplace close to either location for you to see it.

Here are some pics from the websites.
1. Dunlop Qualifier rear (size - 180, condition - almost brand new, at least 90% of treads left), $100
It has a plug in the middle of the threads and it's been properly plugged from the inside with a mushroom plug. I would confidently run this tire on the track or the street.
3. Bridgestone BT003 scrubs (120 front and 180 rear, condition - 70% life left in the middle on the rear, front is 90%. Perfect for the street! $70
